A Local Giving Opportunity

Three women-founded, education-focused, award-winning local nonprofits are joining forces this giving season to equip Portland's 100,206 low income students with the desperately needed books, school supplies, and innovative learning tools they need to learn and succeed.

Your help is needed to reach as many students as possible.

Please give now to show you care!

In low-income neighborhoods, there is one book for every 300 children, far below the 13 books per child in middle- and upper-income neighborhoods.  The Children's Book Bank moves thousands and thousands of engaging books into the hands and homes of families need, giving children the critical brain development and bonding opportunities that books afford.
